Abimbola Farinde

PhD., PharmD
Abimbola Farinde, PharmD is a practicing pharmacist and professor who has gained experience in the field and practice of mental health, geriatrics, and consultant  pharmacy. She has worked with active duty soldiers with dual diagnoses of a traumatic brain injury and a psychiatric disorder providing medication therapy management and disease state management. Dr. Farinde has also worked with mentally impaired and developmentally disabled individuals at a state supported living center. She has also worked in a assisted living center providing her clinical services. Her array of practice experiences have allowed her to develop and enhance her consulting skills over the years. Dr. Farinde is a Fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and the American College of Apothecaries. She is a member of the Association of Black Health System Pharmacist, and associate editor of several healthcare and scientific journal journals, and has served exam committee development member of the Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy. Dr. Farinde’s research interests focus on cognitive decline, veteran population, elderly population, neuropsychiatric disturbances, and mental illness to name a few. Dr. Farinde always strives to maintain a commitment towards achieving professional growth as she transitions from one phase of her career and professional growth to the next.
