Test Taking Tips for Your Pedagogy Courses

One of our recent students mentioned that the one thing they thought we could improve about our courses was, "Not let me change my test answers!"

How often have any of us finished a test only to say, "I had the right answer, then I second guessed myself and got it wrong!"

Far too often we hear similar comments from students.

We definitely want you to succeed here at Pedagogy so we've put together some test taking and course tips to help:

All of our test questions are tied to a specific section of the course. If you look above the test question, the name of the Chapter the question is related to will be displayed below the course name. If you're not sure about the answer to a question you can use click the "Take My Class" button at the top of the screen to return to the course, then click on the Chapter you want to review. Click on “Take My Test” to return to your test.

When in doubt, trust your first instinct – it can often be the right answer.

Pedagogy course tests are not timed – so take your time! As you go through the test you can navigate back to any questions that you're not sure about. You have as much time as your schedule allows you to complete the questions.

Make sure you save your answers. Click the "Save" button or the "Save and Continue" button at the bottom of the test questions to make sure your answers are being saved.

Review your test before you click the "Submit for Scoring" link.

If you ever come across a question that you feel is incorrect or not working properly, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. There is a "Report a Problem" button at the top right corner of the screen in every one of our classes. Click that button and fill out the box to let us know what problem you are encountering and we will look into it as soon as possible.

Everyone has different test taking styles, but we try to make sure that everyone who takes our courses is able to make the 80% grade that is needed for you to receive your certificate.

Once you have submitted your course for scoring and reached the 80% passing grade, be sure to click the "Submit Your Evaluation" link and fill out the course evaluation. This must be completed before you can print your certificate – and we value your opinion. If there is something you think we can improve upon, please let us know.

We hope this helps you with your courses here at Pedagogy.
