Continuing Education Requirements: 
Renewal requirements for RNs and LPNs: Must be 20 contact hours within the last renewal period. Must be related to the practice of nursing. At least 10 of the 20 hours must be formally peer reviewed and approved continuing education. Up to 4 hours may be CPR or BLS courses

Not Specified Yes LPN-C Course is offered through the Community College system in Nebraska. Nurses must pass a state sponsored exam to become IV certified. LPNs must have 5 contact hours of IV education to renew nursing license. Not for LPN IV Certification Pedagogy Education may be used only for obtaining contact hours for licensure renewal. LPN's may not administer intermittent meds via a central line. They can only administer meds through a continuously flowing fluid infusing into a central line.
